The Application Support Specialist is responsible for providing first level technical support (via phone, email, and desk-side) for internal customer inquiries on organizational software and programs. They also assist in troubleshooting and documenting application issues and concerns and work with other IS team members to design, create, and implement training solutions. The successful candidate for this position will have Microsoft Windows / Office support experience, demonstrated knowledge of database systems, networking, and internet technologies as it pertains to application in production, able to multi-task, work under pressure, and handle interruptions throughout the day. At least 2 years of post-secondary experience or supplemental workshops/courses in technology related discipline. Certifications in Microsoft Office beneficial.
