Opened in April 2011, Sweet Stop is owned and operated by Julie Lamb and Laura Mendoza - sister bakers who were born and raised in Council Bluffs. Sweet Stop is a family-owned and operated business located in the heart of the 100 block of West Broadway across the street from the Council Bluffs Chamber of Commercer and between Marcus Shoes and the Fiddlin' Monkey.
Sweet Stop offers wonderful sweet treats in a bright and fun atmosphere. At Sweet Stop, we feature jumbo cupcakes 4 to 5 different flavors daily, cookies, donuts, homemade candies, truffles & fudge, ice-cream, bulk candy, jumbo pretzels, hot dogs, chips & cheese as well as many other fun sweet treats!
Sweet Stop offers more than 50 flavors of cupcakes/cakes to choose from and at least 7 flavors of cupcakes daily. We also offer cookies, brownies, whoopie pies, truffles, fudge, large cookie cakes, cream cheese mints, donuts, ice cream and more. We serve the Council Bluffs and Omaha metro area.
