Hello, my name is Marga Ybarra and I'm running for City Council, Ward 2, Detroit Lakes, MN. I believe that good governance and stewardship cannot only be looked at through the lens of only one project or emotional tie, but must be seen through the lens of reason. Our decisions affect everyone and all sides of every issue must be scrutinized and discussed thoroughly before coming to any immediate decisions or conclusions. With an economy that is suffering and inflation on the rise, our commitment to stewarding the finances of our community must be handled with the utmost care and respect.
